{"id":3534,"date":"2025-04-02T16:22:50","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T14:22:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musee-riquewihr.fr\/our-next-conference-will-be-exceptional\/"},"modified":"2025-04-04T13:10:26","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T11:10:26","slug":"our-next-conference-will-be-exceptional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musee-riquewihr.fr\/en\/our-next-conference-will-be-exceptional\/","title":{"rendered":"Our next conference will be exceptional!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>&#8220;Archaeological insights into Riquewihr in the Middle Ages<\/em> <em> &#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The town of Riquewihr, Alsace&#8217;s tourist flagship, is steeped in its medieval past, linked to the fortification of the town at the end of the <sup>13th<\/sup> century: the urban topography is organized around a main street, and the remains of the Oberthor (or <\/em>Dolder) <em>are still visible. <\/em><em>All these monuments are reminders of the presence of the Counts of Horbourg, then the Dukes of Wurtemberg. Recent archaeological research has opened up new horizons for the town&#8217;s medieval past.
