The Riquewihr Historical and Archaeological Society invites you to join them on Saturday, September 12, for its traditional annual outing to explore Rouffach and its surroundings.

In the morning, we’ll set out to explore the historic center of Rouffach, which boasts an exceptional heritage.

In the afternoon, we’ll continue our day in Pfaffenheim with a visit to the ruins of St. Leonard’s Chapel, followed by a visit to Schauenberg.

We will have the privilege of being accompanied and guided by Mr. Siry, president of the Rouffach Historical Society and former mayor of Pfaffenheim, who will share his knowledge and insights on the history and heritage of these places with us.

Lunch will be served at the Restaurant du Schauenberg, a community-run restaurant managed with the help of the Sisters of Saint-Marc. It will be a friendly gathering that will also give you the chance to learn about a unique local initiative.

❤️ This event is also an important moment for our organization.

We very much hope that many of our members will make the trip. Whether out of a love for our heritage, intellectual curiosity, or simply the pleasure of spending a day together—but also to encourage and support the work of the volunteers who keep our Historical and Archaeological Society alive.

Your participation directly contributes to the vitality of our organization!

💶 Cost of the outing: €38 per person, including lunch.

🚗 Carpooling is available to make travel easier.
